General Notes for Lola Cathryn Parker
Lola Catherine Parker (Mrs. C. C.) died suddenly Tuesday night, about 7 o'clock at her home at 404 Lincon Street, at the age of 63 years.

Mrs. Parker was playing bridge with her husband, sister, Mrs. Linnie Lyon, and C. O. Coyle a room resident, when she complained of not feeling well. Her condition became worse from the heart attack and she passed away about 20 minutes after becoming ill.

She was born in Van Buren County, near Hillsboro. Her parents were John and Ellen (Calhoun) Logan. She was married to C. C. Parker April, 1912, at Keosauqua, who survives.

Surviving also are four sons: Everett Parker of Hillsboro , Ellsworth of New London, Delbert of Wayland, and Russell of Mt. Pleasant; also fifteen grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Lyon and Mrs. Lula Parker.

She was a member of the Women's Relief Corps, the V. F. W , Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Rebekah Lodge.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Chruch with Dr. James W. Marlin and Dr. E. A. Matthews officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home cemetery.
