The origional Treesh that came to this country was Christian Trisch, a descendent from Germany who came to this country in the year 1773. He was married on board ship to a native of the same country. Anna Christina the other name is not known, and when landed on the American shore he enlisted in the Continental army and became a captain in the war of the Revolution. When the war was over he settled on a farm in Bedford Co, Pa where he engaged in tilling the soil. There was born to Anna and Christian seven sons and two daughters. The story goes that Christian froze to death on a mountain in Bedford County Pa, Anna with five of her boys and two girls moved to Stark County, Ohio in the year 1819. Anna lived in Ohio but four years, living with her son David. Ann died on the 6th day of September, her age was 70 years. She is burried in the Mudbrook Cemetery between her son Peter and her daughter. Her tombstone is of sandstone made by one of her neighbors, Mr Jacob Young, which now marks the spot of her last resting place.
