General Notes for John Hodson Starbuck
After their marriage in 1881 Lydia and John Starbuck homesteaded in Rooks County, Kansas. They later moved back to Warren County, IA. John and Lydia moved to Missouri for a while and then to Cherokee County, Kansas. In 1893, her father, John Haines Haworth, his wife, Maria, and several of their children moved to Nash, Grant County, Oklahoma. In 1898, Lydia, John and their three young children pioneered to Grant County near her Dad and his family. They stayed there for several years before they moved to Harper County in Oklahoma to live close to their son, A. D. Starbuck. Lydia died at the ome of A. D..
