General Notes for Scott R. Frazer |
| Our name was spelled Frazier for several generations. According to my records, Isaac Frazier (1763-1846) was the last and his son Henry changed his name. However, that is up for debate as I have seen his children’s names spelled both ways. Alson Gray is my great-great-grandfather. His name is pretty consistently Frazer. According to family legend, Henry changed his name because he got in a dispute with his brother. However this could have happened after his children were born, so some remained with the old spelling and others also changed their names. |
