Chester Edward Burns, 71, Marietta, formerly of Greenfield, died at 11:45 P.M. Wednesday at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Portsmouth, Scioto Co., Ohio, the son of Cecil R. Burns and Goldie D. Pullen Burns. He was the husband of Mary Jane Walker Nixon. Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Monday at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Note:
Mary Jane Walker Burns was first married to William C. Nixon William Carl Nixon was born 6/15/1924 and died 2/17/1959. He is also buried in Greenfield Cemetery. It is not known what date Mary Jane and William C. Nixon divorced.
